We have obtained a special hardenable steel which is close to the properties of old long case pinions. Having used this for some years now we are confident to recommend it. The following sizes are available as round bar.

Available in engraving brass ( CZ120 ) This is very good for clock wheels and turns and mills very well and is kind on the cutter. Soft and ordinary commercial brass is difficult to turn and mill cleanly. Wheel blanks have a hole in the center of either 4 or 5 mm.
