Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World. By Brian Looms

There are two volumes to this book which was originally started by G H Baillie. Vol 1 is Baillies old book the second Vol is mainly Brian's work. The two Volumes list over 70,000 makers and retailers involved in horology, some of the information goes up to the 1930's. The information given is limited by the numbers of makers involved, but is a good starting point for research and can help date a clock or watch.
