The Fly's are of the Knifton early type. The Quarter strike great wheel and new sprocket being made to be used with the old flanges. Note the shape of the riviting on the quarter strike great wheel. The quarter striking count wheel mounted on the great wheel.
The quarter striking great wheel from the other side. The assembley ready for fitting. The time side great wheel with the click work fitted. The replacement balance which had not been made very well, this was replaced with a more correct brass one.
