One old pulley was available and 2 were made from cast brass. The pulley is made in two halves riveted together. The stirup is made from a cast brass blank and filled up. The pulleys fitted to the clock. All the weights needed making, the cast brass is marked out for cutting. The brass is thinned down and bent round, then the seam is silver soldered together.
The weight is beaten round and cut to size. The top and bottem are made and the rod. These are then fitted and the weight polished. The left weight is finished the others are being worked on. The time weight finished with top that can be lifted up to add weight for regulation.
